Hope Igdalsky,
Certified Public Accountant
Ms. Igdalsky is the managing and tax partner of Igdalsky & Company, Certified Public Accountants.
As a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and its Tax Division, she has served on its Members Tax Practice Improvement, State and Local Taxation, and Management of an Accounting Practice Committees.
Her involvement with the Connecticut Society of CPA’s (CSCPA) includes a three-year term as a member of the Board of Governors. In addition, she chaired the Connecticut State Tax Education Task Force, the State Taxation, Relations with Financial Institutions and Community Service Committees, and served as a member of the society’s Management of an Accounting Practice Committee.
Beyond her work with the AICPA and CSCPA, she served as President of Community Accounting Aid and Services, Inc., an organization that provides pro bono accounting services to disadvantaged individuals.
Ms. Igdalsky teaches the Personal Property Declaration Workshop for the CSCPA and the Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce.
She was awarded the Connecticut Society of Certified Public Accountants’ Public Service Award and received recognition as the Small Business Administration’s Accountant Advocate of the Year for the state of Connecticut.
She has contributed to articles in professional journals, and has been quoted in the news media regarding tax issues.
She has obtained both a Bachelor of Science in business administration with a major in accounting and a Master of Science in Taxation.
Alan B. Igdalsky,
Certified Public Accountant
Mr. Igdalsky is the accounting services partner at Igdalsky & Company, Certified Public Accountants.
He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Connecticut Society of Certified Public Accountants (CSCPA).
His involvement with the CSCPA includes a three-year term as a member of the Board of Governors. In addition, he chaired the Management of an Accounting Practice Committee, Accounting and Review Services Committee and the Peer Review Committee.
Beyond the services he provides to business and individual clients, Mr. Igdalsky performs peer reviews of other accounting practices in accordance with the Standards for Performing and Reporting on Peer Reviews established by the Peer Review Board of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
He holds a Bachelor of Arts and Master of Science in Professional Accounting.
